Our Services
We're proud to provide professional guttering cleaning, gutter maintenance, house soft washing, and commercial spouting cleaning across Otago & Canterbury.
Payment Information

We kindly request payment within 7 days of your invoice date.

We happily accept cash, or bank transfer for your convenience.

A small administration fee of 10% applies to any dishonoured payments.

We may need to apply a monthly service charge of 2% above our overdraft interest rate, on accounts that remain outstanding.
Outstanding / Overdue Accounts
We understand that sometimes circumstances change. If you're having difficulty with payment, please contact us to discuss options. However, if accounts remain unpaid:

We may need to pause services until payment is received.

Interest charges and administrative costs for account follow-up may be added at our discretion.

We may refer any outstanding Debts to a Collection agency at our discretion.

If accounts are escalated to collection or legal action, you'll be responsible for all associated costs including legal fees.

If we need to pass this account onto a third party for collection purposes, we have your authorisation under the Information and Privacy Act, to release the necessary information to facilitate collection of debts from you.
Care and Protection
Our Commitment

We carry comprehensive public liability insurance for your peace of mind.

If we accidentally cause damage during our work, we'll make it right by repairing or fairly compensating you.

Our responsibility is reasonably limited to the service value or $500.00 whichever is less.
Working Together

Please let us know about any existing damage so we can work around it safely.

We appreciate your help in providing safe access to work areas.

It's helpful if you can move or protect any delicate items near our work areas.

Please note that we can only be responsible for damage that we directly cause
What We Can't Cover
Unfortunately, we can't take responsibility for:

Any damage that was already there before we started.

Issues that become visible when we clean away dirt and grime.

Problems with gutters, roofing, or paintwork that's already in poor condition.

Any knock-on effects or indirect issues.
Health and Safety
Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, we're committed to ensuring everyone's wellbeing:

We'll conduct our work safely and follow all required safety procedures.

Please help us by identifying any potential hazards on your property.

We may need to pause or reschedule work if we identify unsafe conditions.

Both you and we have responsibilities to maintain a safe working environment.
Additional Information

Our quotes remain valid for 30 days.

Sometimes weather conditions may affect when we can complete your job.

We'll need access to power and water where possible.
-
For everyone's safety, we may need to reschedule if conditions aren't suitable.
Acceptance and Agreement
By engaging Clear Stream Guttering's services, whether verbally, in writing, or by allowing work to commence, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and have accepted these terms and conditions. These terms form a binding contract between you and Clear Stream Guttering and supersede any previous agreements or understandings.
